Question Using Solver to calculate results

    Hello,

I am new to using Solver, and I have come across a problem I can't figure out. In the assignment, I have to come up with the minimum and maximum cost using predetermined values for varying disinfection materials. Now this is pretty simple - I've figured out how to do most of it, HOWEVER, each mechanism kills certain types (i.e. bacteria, viruses, etc.) per unit of the mechanism. How can I tell Solver that each unit must be a whole number, and that the values of the types disinfected are determined by the number of units?? How can I say, for instance, that for every 1 unit of Chlorine, 4 logs of Bacteria, 4 logs of Viruses, and 0 logs of Parasites are killed, and that there is a minimum of 6 logs of Bacteria that must be killed? And then have it tell me the number of units it used?

I know this must be simpler than I am making it out to be...but can anyone help??

    THANK YOU!!
