    &text formatting

What is the formatting requirement for when using &text to have the text appear red or bold?

    I have this formula:

="income for the immediately preceding quarter and will be subordinated to a preferred income return on "&TEXT(IF('Financial Model'!B34="NAV","Net Asset Value (NAV)","Adjusted Capital"),"?????")&" equal to 2.0% per preceding quarter."

I need the answer to the IF statement, Net Asset Value (NAV) or Adjusted Capital to appear as bolded red text and the rest of the sentence to be normally formatted text. What needs to appear where I have "?????"?

Also is there a way to have the NAV appear as Red Bolded text and the Adjusted Capital appear as Green bolded text depending upon the IF statement?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I am afraid the Text() function will not allow you to partially change your font to "red/bold" ...
You will need to go to VBA ...
