Thread: Sum Data on Dupilcate Names

I have a spreadsheet im working on and would like to sum up earning by year for employees with multiple entries. We have employees who you earn money for selling different products and I would like a formula that would create one line with all that employees earning for the year.

Ex in the attached spreadsheet Sam Denision has four entries. On a separate sheet can I create a formula that would sum up all of Sam's earning for the year. The attached sample only has about 10 employees but the real data has over 1700 employees thus I can sum it up by a simple sum function or can I?
