Hi Gurus,
I have a master Ship list and one recieve file which contains packets recieved from the ship on each dates.and a sent list which includes packets sent to ship on each data.
i need to create a pivottable which can show for each ship and for a date range which are the received packets and send packets.
Thanks.
Naveen
Hello naveen,
welcome to the forum.
for a pivot table, you need a different data structure as the source.
See attached for an example.
I'm not quite clear what you want to summarise and what your "date range" might be.
Maybe you can clarify.
cheers,
Hi,
The packet is not the data packet, this is a ZIP file that we received from the
SHIP So inturn the server will send another ZIP file series that will say confirm the
packet received.
some thing lilke this

If you want to build a pivot table, your data must be in a tabular format with no blank rows, no blank columns, and all data fields filled in, especially identifying fields.
I'm not sure what you mean with the last post. How does that relate to the file you attached in your initial question?
Hi ,
As I told you in the first example , I have three files one with Master Details of Ship
One with Send Packet.zip file with date field and thired Received Packet.Zip with date filed. So multiple range . hope you understood.
Thanks
Naveen

In my first reply I've given you the data structure you need to create a pivot table from your data.
What is your question?

2. Received Packets as per date
