    table sheet/dashboard sheet

I have a table on Sheet2 and want to build a user-friendly dashboard on Sheet1.

I would like three input fields on Sheet1 (name, status etc.) that correlate to the appropriate columns of the table of Sheet2. When a user chooses an entry for one or more of these input fields from the drop-down list I want a filtered version of the Sheet2 table to appear on Sheet1. Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: table sheet/dashboard sheet

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Hope that helps.

    Thanks Roy,

Yes, I think I was making this job much more complicated than necessary.

I have reconfigured the solution. I have added some command buttons, but, as you can see from the attached workbook, I am struggling with the drop-down menu related macro.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    thanks,

You haven't renamed the ComboBox. Double click on the ComboBox in Design View ythen paste in this code

This will replace all your procedures in the Select case
