    How to Overlap Multiple Charts?

I've been tasked with combining two separate charts into one for a Powerpoint presentation. One of the charts contains two y-axes, both line graphs, while the other chart contains a single y-axis that is a bar graph. Typically, I print the line graph chart on a transparency and simply overlay that over the bar graph. However, my manager wishes to see both in one single graph for use in a presentation. Any ideas on how to do this?

I've provided the graphs below with all labels removed for security purposes. The idea is to take "Chart1" and overlay it onto "Chart2." If this cannot be done in Excel, can it be done somewhere else?

Is there a way to copy and paste just the lines and axes labels? I've tried this, but I always bring along the background as well even with transparency set to 100%. Thanks for any help.

One simple approach is just to plot them all on the same chart. You can mix chart types on one chart. However, I seem to remember some unpleasantness about trying to plot bar charts on the second y-axis. And between the two charts, you have three different ranges on the y-axis, so this may not work for you.

At any rate, you can also literally overlay the charts by making the background of one transparent and putting it on top of the other. See attachment.

Don't know how you want to resolve the overlaid axis labels, though.

I copied the series formula from 1 chart to the other.
Format the series with Y values in the range 0 to 1 on the same axis as the 0% to 100% series.
The other series can be placed on the secondary axis and fixed to 1000.
