    multiple vlookups in one cell?

    Hey all,

I have a problem I hope you can help me with.
In the sheet I have provided, I need a formula that will look for any unpaid in column C, and when it finds it, returns the RR# in column B and the customer in column A.
Is Vlookup the best to use for this? If so, can a multiple vlookup be used in one cell?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thx in advance.

    Hi,

Did you mean unpaid in column E? You've successfully filtered your data to show all unpaid so I'm not clear exactly what it is you want.

You can also use Data Filter Advanced filter to filter all the Unpaid rows to another range if you just want a complete list.

    Richard, sorry for the confusion.
Yes you're correct, in column E.

I want the vlookup on another sheet to lookup any unpaid values, and again when it finds an unpaid it will return the information from columns A,B,C (customer, w/e, and RR#)

    Hi,

In that case you need to use the Data Filter Advanced Filter functionality I mentioned in my last email. A VLOOKUP() can only return one value.

    Richard,

I'm trying a different route cause the Advanced filtering isn't working the way I want it to.

If you look on the pivot table data tab, you'll see it has this info i need.
However, I only want the pivot table to show the "Unpaid" in it's count and currently it is counting all the spaces in column E.
Is there a way to have the pivot table just count the unpaid?
