I have see several threads on this subject, but cant figure it out.
I have a worksheet with the following layout:
A B C D E ... N
title1 title2 title
Test1 11 33 33 55 ..
Test1 11 7a yh hh
Test1 11 7B HH GG
Test2 22 81 JJ KK
Test2 22 82 UU PP
I would like to convert this to one row for each unique item in column A:
Test1 title2 11 11 11 title 33 7a 7B 33 title yh HH title 55 hh GG
Test2 title2 22 22 title 81 82 title JJ UU PP
I have attached a sample file:
Hi MDB301
Welcome to the forum.
Not quite sure what you are trying to do.
Is this the lines you are thinking on
Copy your Data to say A20 then Remove Duplicates...
Select the result and Copy
Then Paste > Paste Special > check the transform checkbox to say A30
If you need any more information, please feel free to ask.
However, if this takes care of your needs, please click EDIT in your original post, click GO ADVANCED and set the PREFIX box to SOLVED. It helps everybody! ....
Also
If you are satisfied by any members response to your problem please consider using the small Star icon botom left of thier post to show your appreciation.
The only duplicate that I want to remove is in column A, so for every unique entry in column A a want one row that contains:
Column A +Column B Title + column B contents for the corresponding column A + column C Title + Column C for the corresponding column A + etc etc up to column N
So from the sample it would look like this:
Test_Net_1 cc.ip.address 192.55.55.1 192.55.55.1 192.55.55.1 192.55.55.1 cc.ip.add.type 192.55.55.101 192.55.55.102 192.55.55.103 192.55.55.104 cc.usage.priority 1 1 1 1 cc.releated.gateway 192.55.55.100 192.55.55.100 192.55.55.100 192.55.55.100 etc..
Thanks, for you help
I could like to have the new formated data on a separate Sheet.
