Exclamation Having quite a tough time.

I've been working on this 'file tree' database for my company for probably the last 2 weeks. I'm consistently getting stuck, I've tried pivot tables, hyperlinks, references, comments, and naming nothing seems to get close to what they want so I've gone back to the pivot table idea because it allows the End User to look at just a basic simple easy to use file path layout. The table range that is pulling in the data is actually A1, GJ581. Most of that is blank however other than Column A that is the so called "Master List" it lists all the documents in the database so from B1 to GJ581 there are items that show what document it is referenced in. I decided the easiest way of managing the names would be just a simple = function to that document so they only have to change 1 document title to see effects. The Pivot Table on the other sheet however is located solely in Column A and even maxed out in 255 characters the table loses some of the longer references. So my main problem is just that references aren't showing exactly due to the cut off of being too big. Is there anyway to list references simple in a straight down line? Such as:

    Master
    Ref
    Ref
    Ref

    Instead of the defaulted:

    Master
    Ref
    Ref
    Ref

Because when in this mode it goes too far out. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly accepted and if you need to see screenshots I can upload some to a outside website such as photobucket or the company website and give urls accordingly. Thanks again for the help!

Hi and welcome to the board, unfortunately

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

PLEASE PM WHEN YOU HAVE DONE THIS AND I WILL DELETE THIS POST
Quoting entire posts clutters the forum and makes threads hard to read !
