I need a watermark in Excel with the text "internal use only". I then need to make a pdf of the Excel sheet and would like the watermark to look the same in the pdf as it does in Excel.
I used the method of adding a jpg picture to the header, and this works well as a watermark in Excel.
The problem is when I make a pdf of the sheet. The picture ends up about half the size as it was in Excel.
Any ideas why this is happening? How I can get around it.
Thanks in advance!

I think I've just found the problem, and it's annoyingly simple . . .
In Excel I used the "fit to 1 page" setting, which reduced it to about 63%. When I changed that to 100%, the watermark came through to the pdf with the correct size. The only problem now is that I need to reformat my Excel sheet so that everything fits onto one page when it's at 100%![]()
