    Data validation across multiple columns

I'm trying to validate data across multiple fields.

For example, I have 3 columns: city, state and zip in one worksheet. If I validate the city field on a different worksheet, then I'd like to have state and zip appear as well.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

    Thanks!

Re: Data validation across multiple columns

You can use formulas to get the respective state, zip... VLOOKUP()

    e.g.

=VLOOKUP(A2,Sheet1!A:C,2,FALSE) would get the state from Sheet1 column 2 where column A has a matching city to the one you chose in A2 of active sheet.

    and

=VLOOKUP(A2,Sheet1!A:C,3,FALSE) would get the zip code from column C
