    Rounding cents up

I am having an issue with some rounding of numbers in Excel. I want the hundreds portion of a dollar amount to round to the nearest penny.I would do it manually but I have over 4,000 entires.

    For example:

    $11.20
    $9.50

I want it to change to

    $11.21
    $9.51

The reason is because when I export the numbers into another program it look like $11.2
and $9.5 It won't show the 0's. Anyone have any ideas?? THANKS!

It's your other prog maybe that needs tweaking. Sounds like a display decimal issue rather than a rounding issue. you could just add 0.01 to a cell to make it end in the 11.51
    Windows 7 using Office 2007 & 2010

Remember your [ code ] [ /code ] tags, makes reading soooo much easier

I am moving all of this information into a mail merge into Word. What would I have to do in Word to get it to read exactly what the cell says without losing the 0's?

Without making a userform in word and setting properties there, i don't think the control of the number of decimals showing in word can be tampered with other than directly typing them into a word table. You might try formatting your numbers in Excel to display more places after the decimal, see if if that has any effect, try displaying 6 spaces after the decimal and see what happens

You can use the field code part of the merge field in Word to control the number formatting.

    See http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm about midway down.
