INDIRECT references to closed external workbooks in 64-bit Excel 2010

    Is this possible?

All I can find are vague, outdated references to methods that do NOT seem to work in 64-bit Excel 2010.

INDIRECT has never worked with closed workbooks.

    MoreFunc's INDIRECT.EXT does.
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate

AFAIK, MoreFunc is incompatible with Excel 2010.

The installation doesn't seem to result in the additional functions.

    Appears so; see http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/showthread.php?t=473056

I think API declarations have to include PTRSAFE for 64 bit, which requires changes to the source code.
