I have conditionally color highlighted a column of courses containing text in a spreadsheet. I now need to count the colors used. A minimum of 6 colors is optimum but 3 would be fine.
I have pasted numerous codes into VBA but have had no success. Can anyone conditionally format 20 text items or 10 in a column with three colors say 2 to each type (For three types out of five-like dog, cat, bird out of dog cat bird fish insect) and walk me through counting 2, 2, 2. The error I'm getting is data is text. I haven't found a post that works or one that clearly explains how to use with any clarity.....Thanks t0by1
