=c5 how to prevent blank cells from being represented as "0"?

I am doing = some cell from another table to create another set of data, In some cases the cells I am copying are blank, but they show up as a 0 by doing this. How to make them blank?

    Thanks for the help.

    You could do...

    =IF(C5="","",C5)

or you could apply a custom format to just hide the 0.

    Hi

Go to Excel option-->Advanced then under "Display options for this worksheet" unselect "show zeros in cells that have zero value" this will hide the zeros for the selected worksheet
