    Autofilling many rows

    Hi!

I have a worksheet with a ton of data in 2 columns and 28803 rows. I want to make some simple calculations in a third column. To autofill by dragging through 28803 rows takes a while. Is there anyway to autofill from C1 to C28803 quickly?

I'm using Excel 2011 for Mac.

    Thanks,

    kbka

try copying the first cell say c1 with formula in it
in the name box(top left) where it says c1 type in c1:c28803
all those cells will be selected, then paste

If there are no blank cells in column B, enter the formula in C1 and double click the lower right corner of the cell (the 'fill handle').
