I have a year planner spreadsheet, it contains shif work details for four people in each cell.
I would like to colour sone cell to denote who is on holiday, quite easy so far.
We now have a situation where two people will be on holiday at the same time. I want to either have two colours in one cell, or have the colours fading, is this possible.

You can't have two colours in one cell, I'm not sure what you mean by fading but I doubt that you can fade colours
