Thread: Sort by Value (Col C) and Keep Grouping (Col A)?

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has a solution to this.

I have a report where there are account numbers for column A and daily totals for column D.

I need to be able to sort by max daily total, but keep the account grouping together.

Example:

2344 $45
2344 $68
2344 $15
5677 $65
5677 $12
9964 $34
9964 $11
9964 $86

Result:

9964 $86
9964 $34
9964 $11
2344 $68
2344 $45
2344 $15
5677 $65
5677 $12

So it's sorted by max amount, but still grouped by account #

Sort by Column B Values Largest to smallest

That will not give me the result I need.

It needs to be sorted by max $ amount (col B) and still maintain the account # grouping (col A). Just like in the result sample.
