Problem Date conversion
Hello please help if you can. I currently have an existing spreadsheet with a lot of data. the problem i have is one of the columns of data someone has put this date into the cell and i want to convert this but it does not do it in excel.
here is the example data
20000526
year month day
the closest thing is iso8601 without the seperators
I would like it to be 26/05/2000 if possible
I would like to convert this into a date I can use in other applications but I do not know how
Could you please help?
Select the values and then use Text to Columns and in step 3 choose the format as Date YMD.
