Separating text within a cell

Hello,
I have a column of data that looks like this:

1/7/2010 4:14:54 AM
1/7/2010 5:06:36 AM
1/7/2010 5:42:14 AM
1/7/2010 5:48:47 AM
1/7/2010 6:58:45 AM
1/7/2010 7:02:11 AM
1/7/2010 7:07:48 AM
1/7/2010 7:07:59 AM
1/7/2010 7:08:35 AM
1/7/2010 7:10:57 AM
1/7/2010 7:12:05 AM
1/7/2010 7:16:29 AM
1/7/2010 7:22:31 AM
1/7/2010 7:26:30 AM
1/7/2010 7:28:11 AM
1/7/2010 7:28:34 AM
1/7/2010 7:38:57 AM

I need to separate the DATE rom the TIME into separate cells. The 'text to column' feature is too messy.
I am sure there is an easy way to do this and would appreciate any guidance.
