Thread: excel, sorting data with similar times.

Hi there-

I'm trying to sort some data, I am completely unfamiliar with using VB or anything like that on Excel.

I have two sets of data, let's name them "particle count" and "turbidity". Both have minute by minute data for one whole month, but both were recorded using different instruments, so some minutes have been skipped in each of the data sets, and the times don't exactly match up.

I need to graph both sets on the same chart, but I can't just graph them with the same x values (time) since some minutes are skipped on each set.

I need a way for both sets of data to share the same x-values (time) accurately.

I attached my spreadsheet for reference (only for one day, it wouldn't let me upload the whole spreadsheet due to its size).
