I came to this site in dire need. I am working on a cost estimation sheet for a heat pump water heater by state. From my excel document I am calling for the value of a cell from another document for the cells between (B4:B31) and (AA4:AA31). I have 50 sheets that look like this, one for each state. The first column is for January and looks like this:
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$C$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$E$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$G$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$I$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$K$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$M$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$O$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$Q$11
and so forth....
The second column looks the same with the preceeding cell from the original document:
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$B$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$D$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$F$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$H$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$J$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$L$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$N$11
='[Equivalent EF.xlsx]January'!$P$11
and so forth...
This is the first sheet, for Alabama, and I need to go all the way through Wyoming. For each of the formulas all I need to change is the "11" at the end of the formula to the next number. For instance:
Alaska=12
Arizona=13
Arkansas=14
California=15
and so forth....
I have done the first few sheets by manually changing the row number on the formula that is being called in each cell. I hope I am clear when I ask, is there any way that I can quickly change the row number for all the cells within a sheet? Thank you for any input.
