Thread: Matching two Column in different workbook having multiple occurance of same value

Sir,

I have two workbook say one CIS(Cheque Issue Statement) and second one is BS(Bank Statement) having both two columns one date column and second one is Amount column.
Example Given Below:

CIS Bank Statement
Date Amount Date Amount
01/10/2010 210 01/10/2010 210
02/10/2010 125 02/10/2010 310
03/10/2010 210 03/10/2010 125
03/10/2010 150 03/10/2010 125

Now i put vlookup to match amount of cis with bank statement. U see amount 210 two times in cis but in bank statment one time but vlookup don't pickup. Pls provide me the formula to compare these column exact.
