    Excel table - picture

    Hello everyone!,

    i have found it difficult to find in excel 2007 something that im sure that i've found before.

    i want to create a table that is not affected by the sizes of columns -
    sort of like a "picture" table.

    im using the word picture because when i found it i remember that after i've inserted the data, Excel stated that i wont be able to change the data anymore and it will count as a picture.

    i would be greatful if someone helped me find what im looking for.

    thank you!

    I don't think there is any native function of Excel that allows for the single entry of data and then it can no longer be changed. You can copy a table as a picture and then it is static;
    on the home tab, click on the small arrow under "Paste" to get the dropdown menu. Then "As Picture" > "Copy as Picture"
    Hope that helps.

    Maybe you can use the Camera tool to take a picture of your table (which is on a separate sheet). You can change the columns/rows of the sheet where the picture is and the picture will remain unaffected. Not sure about inability to change data, since the picture should be a 'Live' reference to the source cells.
