I'm having a problem with Excel 2003 running on Windows 7 although it's literally just started.
When I go to drag and drop or cut and paste cells or groups of cells within a spreadsheet, I will get the error "Cannot Empty The Clipboard".
I've searched this problem throughout the internet and have tried some of the following:
(1) tried going to the clipboard and clicking the Collect Without Showing Office Clipboard
- hasn't worked
(2) tried finding some rpdclip file (or something like that) through task manager. I am unable to locate that file or it simply isn't running
(3) I've even downloaded some Windows Update and that doesn't work either.

The strange thing about this error is that it shows up about 75 percent of the time I move cells and yet with I either click OK or simply X out of it, it lets me complete the drag and drop or cut and paste. So it doesn't PREVENT me from doing it but it slows down the process to an extreme crawl.

If somebody has a fix to this (and keep in mind that I'm not all that technically gifted) so you may have to walk me through it, I would really appreciate it. I use this file every day and my work has slowed down considerably.
