"Save As" - I have a file where I make daily changes. Each day I do a Save As, and create a new file by changing the date which is part of the file name.
Over the past month, in several cases the file put the words "Backup of" at the front of the file name.
I have never encountered this behavior previously.
Any ideas? This is Excel 2007.

Is it an xls file, or an xlk file? This thread in another board might be of interest.
