Thread: vlookup with a partial name

I've looked through some of the other threads and am not seeing anything I can make sense of. I am using the vlookup to return a value from an inventory sheet. If I use the false conditional and type in the full inventory name it works just fine. However, I would like to be able to type in the partial name but every time I try it returns the wrong value (usually from the cell above the one I want). And it's probably blatantly obvious I kind of stink at excel so any help is greatly appreciated.
