Thread: Drop Down Selection ...

Hello all,

I have a drop down using a list in the validation option under the data menu, no issues there. There are several values in the list far more than 7.

What I am trying to accomplish is when a user picks a value from the drop down a corresponding price value from another range of cells with the prices in it, populates the adjacent cell, or any cell for that matter.

I can do this with nested IF statements, but with a long list that simply will not due.

I think you simply need a vlookup formula in the adjacent cell based on the validation selected. You will need to have a table or two columns next to each other to tie the validation to a value.
