    Transposing Email addresses into columns

    Hey guys,

Having a bit of a problem....I've got a long list of emails, and I was wondering how I might turn the list into a functional document that I could use for various tasks I've got.

Right now, It looks like this: Screen shot 2011-12-13 at 4.00.31 PM.jpg

And I'd like to get it to this. Screen shot 2011-12-13 at 4.03.05 PM.jpg

I already used the text to column feature, and my attempts to transpose it have been futile...any help would be great.

    Thanks!

Click GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to post up a copy of your workbook. Take a moment to read the forum rules/suggestions.

You want a macro to do this, or just formulas reflecting from your original sheet?

    to do it yourself
    copy it
    open word
paste special unformatted text into word
    now find >,
    replace with >^p
    replace all
then repeat find ,just hit space bar to put a single space in the find box
    replace with ^t
select all copy/paste back into excel

If that takes care of your need, please click EDIT in your original post, click GO ADVANCED and set the PREFIX box to SOLVED.
