    Counting Formula - Amount of times a value appears

    Hi guys,

    basically i have a list of numbers in column A i need a formula to work how how many times the number appears for every single number..

    Column A consists of 3000 numbers almost.

    So basically i want it to count how many times a1 appears in the whole of column A

    19221111111
    19221111112
    19221111113
    19221111114
    19221111115
    19221111116
    19221111117
    19221111118
    19221111111
    19221111112

    Try this in a cell(Let's say B1):

    =COUNTIF(A:A;A1)
