I have one dataset with 444*192 cells, and another with 27*20 cells, and i need to average the larger one so that it is rescaled to the same size of the smaller one accurately. Is there a way to do this using an array formula that i could drag down in a new worksheet which would, for example, average every 7 or 8 cells together (more precisely 7.11111, so every 10th cell group would be a group of 8 cells whereas the rest would average the values of 7 cells)
I hope this makes sense, i dont think it will be too hard to acheive but i am no expert when it comes to excel formulae, and it may well be easier to do the y axis then transpose the data and do the x axis seperately, but i dont know.
any help is much appreciated. in the case that it is easier to do it than explain what to do, i have attached the file below:

What is the objective? It could be resampled by bilinear interpolation, but that would ignore a lot of the data.
