Hello,
I am looking for a way to make charts conditionally appear and disapear. Due to my industry, I am not allowed to use VB.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob
Can you tell me the condition?
For disappearance, do you mean the "whole" chart including legends, etc to disappear?
Or is it just a line chart excluding legends and white area?
The only way to completely hide the entire chart, without using VBA, is to use Custom Views.
Create the initial view with the chart showing and name this view Show Chart.
Next select all rows that the chart encompasses and hide these rows and the chart will be hidden as well.
Now create another Custom View and name it Hide Chart.
From here on it is just a matter of selecting the view you want.
The Custom View is located on the View tab of the Ribbon Menu.
Palmetto
Do you know . . . ?

Re: Custom Views
Dang, I thought excel would have an "Insert Image" function; which would make my life a whole lot easier. I have to print these pages; and don't want to print out blank charts. I know how to make the charts conditionally graph different data; but now just need them to appear and disappear.
The whole chart/object/image.
