Thread: [SOLVED]Calculate QTY for same products type.

Hello, first I would like to apologize if the same issue topic is already in this forum, it's my first time in here.

I'm trying to find out if I have an easier way to calculate the total quantities of the products for the same type.
Example:

Apples x 1
Apples x 3
Apples x 1
Apples x 5
Oranges x 1
Oranges x 3
Oranges x 7
Bananas x 2
Bananas x 4
Bananas x 1
Berrys x 2
Berrys x 3
Berrys x 6

What I'm trying to find out is calculate the total qty of each fruit and delete the duplicate fruits. I could do auto sum but I have like 200 different products.

Result:
Apples 10
Oranges 11
Bananas 7
Berrys 11

Hi first make the unique list of fruits (e.g. use remove duplicates) then use sumif function

I do not understand Your problem but maybe You can use pivot table then

You will see rows with the same product but different qty, I would like to calculate the total of qty for each specific product, removing duplicates rows.

Another way to do this is:

1) Use SUMIF, to find the Quantities/item name

2) COUNTIF, to find how many times/item name

3)Auto filter to find any item number, you want.
