Chart Date Problem

Using Excel 2007, I have a chart that displays the date on the horizontal axis and numerical values on the vertical axis.

My problem started as soon as 2012 began. Whereas before the chart would end at the most recent date, now it continues across horizontally as a long straight line AFTER the most recent date including every month until the end of 2012 (on the horizontal axis). The vertical axis values remain ok.

All I want it to display is up to the most recent values/date at the end of the right side of the chart as it did throughout 2011. And every time a new value is added, it's automatically updated in the chart. In the attached workbook example, the 'Chart data range' formula is exactly as it appears in my current spreadsheet (which ends at line 1016).

It would be simple to answer if you could post a workbook (use the Go Advanced button, then Manage Attachments) rather than a picture.

The date in A355 is 31/12/2012 - it should presumably be 2011? And similarly the cell above.

Thanks OnErrorGoto0, you're absolutely right! Changed the dates to 2011 and problem solved, very keen eye! Goes to show the simplest answer is often the right answer, much appreciated.
