I use an estimating excel book that has been passed around numerouse times, I have no clue on who the original author is in getting in touch with them.
This is a form we use to right our proposals, I constantly have to retype the company name and address, is there a way I can make a drop down list and add them every time?
I guess I am having trouble if I put all the company names on a new sheet with their address, how do I make a list on my proposal page to pick up those names, example.... and then drop them in my proposal page?

etc, etc, etc
I am not sure if I can load my file since it is around 4mb.
You need a table setting up for the addresses. You can then use Data Validation Lists and VLOOKUP
Hope that helps.

I am very basic to excel how would I set up a table for the addresses?
I know I can make a sheet and put all the company address in there but how do I make the list just pick up the company name and then insert into all the required fields (name, address, phone number lines?)
After doing some research I made a table setting using my fields I want in each column. On my proposal page I made a drop down list where the company name can go and I can select from the list in my address book.
This is were I am having trouble, how do I just use the drop down list to select my company and then under that in the corresponding cells the address, phone number, etc will be placed automatically, is this even possible?
Have you looked at the links that I posted & the example on the VLOOKUP page that demonstrates how to do what you want
Hope that helps.
