Filter: After filtering, Excel gets extremely slow ...

I have a worksheet that when filtered, bogs down to the point it is almost useless. For example, when you scroll down a cell (arrow key) it takes 5-10 seconds to move to the next cell.

The page break view is not checked (in Excel options). There are only about 200 rows of data. There is a macro, but even when disabled gets the same issue (slow). There is a calculation that runs on about 200 cells (1 per row) but when converted to values (no calculation) the filters still performs slowly. When not filtered, smooth as can be.

    Any ideas?

    Is the workbook a secret?
If not why not post it?
That way we might more clearly see your problem.
