I need to get a percentage of one cell and have it automatically put the percentage amount in another. I.E. Cell B5 $1,182 Cell B6 15% of Cell B5($1,182)
I cannot seem to find a formula in Excel for calculating a percentage of a total. Any answers for this problem?
Hi conniebeau and welcome to the forum,
In cell B6 put this
=0.15*B5
