Hi Everybody!
I would really appreciate your help in a little inventory pickle I'm in. Thank you in advance for listening!
I need to track an item's rate of sell on a weekly basis. From my system I can pull an inventory list as well as quantity. So in essence I have two sheets (A- old and B- new). In both sheets col A is a list of item numbers and col B is a list of the corresponding quantities. The trick is that the inventory size is not the same on a weekly basis and sheet A and B do not match up across so that I can analyze it. I am hoping to find a way to match the old list quantity (sheet A) to the new list (sheet B), and also copy/paste the quantities to its corresponding cells so that I can simply calculate rate of decrease across.
I'm sorry if I wasn't able to explain myself clearly but can answer any questions you may have!
Thank you so much again!
Best,
Jason

Hi Jason,
Welcome to the forum.

Sorry, here's an updated sample file with more information on the "Analysis" tab.
Hi Munggchungg,
See the attached file.
Where there is no previous quantity, I have included a remark "no previous quantity"... apart from this all other variances are shown correctly.
