I am not explaining the problem well, but I made and attached a small spreadsheet that illustrates the problem. Basically, I figured out how to make an ordered list using data that I have, but it doesn't show when I have duplicates. In the sample, I am trying to get Ed's score and name reported. Thanks!

Hi Pat Parker,
See the attached file where I have greyed out the old formulas and given the new ones just besides them. Thanks.

DILIPandey: Your solution works until I have to add columns of additional data. For example, in attached book2-edited.xlsx, I added a column for user Zack. I the copied down a row from the list, but it is not finding the final name of Ed. I often add columns with new users which is why I was trying to make this list to update dynamically (I don't mind having to copy down additional rows when I add columns)
Hi Pat Parker,
The solution was perfect... only thing went incorrect that you have missed to freeze ($) the rows.... Now I freezed them and it is working fine as before.
check the attachment.
