I have two sets of transaction data. The first set is n Columns A, B and C. Column A is dates,B are transaction numbers and C is dollar amounts. The second set of transaction data is in columns H and I. Column H has transaction numbers and I has dollar amounts. I need a formula that will examin the transaction number and dollar value in columns H and I and match them off (either by putting a unique number in the adjacent cell or coloring it somehow) with the data in columns B and C. However there could be more than 1 transaction number and dollar value that could be the same in the data in columns B and C (eg transaction number JS1452 and dollar amount $350.00 could be on line 26 and line 45) so if that happens I would need the formula to take the transaction with the earliest date (which is the data in column A). Any and all answers are appreciated (even if they don't answer all parts of the question)

I suggest to use helper column. See the attachment.
Hope it match.
