    Unhappy Help with saving a .csv properly

    Hey,

    so I have a csv sheet, which has the following structure:

    "Name";"Prename";"last name";
    "";"";"Miller"
    Whenever I open the file using the Text To Columns Wizard, I choose " as the text qualifier. Now, the problem is that when I try to save the file, I want it to have the original formatting. But whenever I save the file, it loses the "s, and now has this structure:

    "Name";"Prename";"last name";
    ;;"Miller"
    Since I need this for work, I cannot use macros. Do you have any suggestions?

    I picked ; as the delimiter.

    Thanks in advance

    delimit with ; and then concatenate the strings back together?

    Can I ask why you wouldn't use and semicolon ( ; ) as a delimiter? When I use that it seems to work fine.

    Try this and send an update on your status.

    Good luck!

    Sorry, I mixed up the terms, changed them in the original post. I'm fairly new to Excel. :-/
