    Help with data extraction from a workbook

    Hi All,

    I'm looking for help to extract a value from a list of data.

    I don't have the option of altering the data.

    I need to lookup the value from Column L that corresponds to a code in Column A with has the value in column H of 31/12/9999.

    So I send it to find a value for uuj544 it need to deliver me 829.93.

    Can anyone help, please?

    Hello John, welcome to the forum.

    Can you please attach a workbook instead of a picture? for attach a file,

    On the bottom click, 'Go Advanced', then down 'Menage Attachments', top right side, click on 'Add Files', select your file & upload it. then bottom 'Done'

    Try to use SUMPRODUCT or INDEX/MATCH.

    SUMPRODUCT will sum all the instances, If you have multiple instances of all the conditions,

    INDEX/MATCH will give the first value where all the conditions met.

    Also,

    If data occur only once with all conditions, take a look at DGET function, which is faster than SUMPRODUCT & Array formulas. Se excel help for 'Database Functions'
