Help: error on my formula. =(E20:E29)+(E31:E37)/2 - is there another way to do this?

or if you'd need to divide by two all the numbers=(E20:E29)+sum(E31:E37)/2
=sum(E20:E29,E31:E37)/2

tnx for the quick reply. tried your formula =(E20:E29)+sum(E31:E37)/2, but it won't work. However, based on your formula. I added another sum at the beginning =SUM(E20:E29)+SUM(E31:E36)/2 and it works.
