Thread: Custom format based on other cells value

Dear All,

Is it possible to create a custom format based on the value available in other cells.

As in the below mentioned example.

Col A Col B
Row 1 Currency Amount
Row 2 Dollar $25.00

If I change the Value of A2 from 'Dollar' to 'Pound', then B2 should Display £25.00. It should be done in custom format only so that i can use these numbers for further caculation. I am not looking for a solution using macro for this.

Any help is highly appreciated!
