[SOLVED]Rate as result of multiple cells and tables...

    Hi everyone!
I am not sure but I really hope someone can help me (or my wife will divorce me).

I have a simple invoice (see Attachment).

The final "Rate" that I am looking for, depends on multiple cells (that have drop down lists) and tables which are:
    -Client
    -Volume
    -Area
    -Density
    -In or Out

The list of all rates to pick from are listed in their own Tables (2011, 2012 in future we will add more)
and are the result of the combinations of the 5 variables above!!!

I am attaching the basic file.

    Anyone can help?
    PLEASE!

    Thanks you so much!
    Regards
    Rober

Re: Rate as result of multiple cells and tables...

WOW, it seems to be working. I am trying to understand it myself.
    However one last thing is
    -Density
Density is the result of a fraction made on the form somewhere else.
I have basically 3 ranges of density:
Low the number appears as under 5.5 "Out 4 Low Area1" or "Out 4 Low Area2"
    Normal between 5.5 and 5.9 "Out 4 Area1" or "Out 4 Area2"
    High over 6.0 "Out 4 High Area1" or "Out 4 High Area2"

DENSITY APPEARS AND IS NECESSARY ONLY IN "OUT" and there is no density in IN.

How do I set this up too?
I can change the words low and high after if it is better for the formula!

    Can you help?
THis looks more difficult to me....

    Thanks
    Rober

Good to know that this helped.

Further to this I am not clear with Density part....
what cells in Invoice sheet will determine which density level? would be better if you can create a little table to explain this :-

    Criteria 1......... criteria 2....... criteria 3........ density
    A 15 = Out...... A 9 = 4...........c 9 - Area 1.... low
    ----------------------------------------------------
    ---------------------------------------------------

    Thanks.

Re: Rate as result of multiple cells and tables...

Density is calculated automatically in cell "Density" and it is the result of 2 variables (Net and Cuft) in another part of the form which we input manually.
Also it is a variable needed only for "Out 4" rates!
I attached with the complete formula.

It's way to complicated for me!

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Rober,

By saying "Out 4" rates do you want to refer "Out" in Cell A15 and "4" in cell A9?

Also after including Net and Cuft, has your problem resolved or do you need further help? Thanks.

[SOLVED]Rate as result of multiple cells and tables...

YES TO THE FOLLOWING (CELL A15 AND A9 COMBINED):
By saying "Out 4" rates do you want to refer "Out" in Cell A15 and "4" in cell A9?

THIS IS MY LAST OBSTACLE BUT "DENSITY" IS THE KEY NUMBER AND NET AND CUFT DO NOT REALLY APPEAR ON THE INVOICE!
Also after including Net and Cuft, has your problem resolved or do you need further help? Thanks.

    Thanks
    R
