    navigating in excel 2007

    Hey guys,

I hope you can help me. I attached a dummy file to this thread for reference.
My question is quite general, I want to know how I could navigate better through the whole sheet.
Like how could I maybe add a search function to look for years 2010 and 3?
Or would it be maybe possible to go through all those 'blocks' of 5 colomns by one 'tab' click?

thanks a lot for your ideas!

    Have you tried Ctrl-F?

Or set the navigation option to Lotus 123 - that way when you hit TAB, it goes an entire screen over, not just one colun.

My bad - it's actually called Lotus Compability - Transition Navigation Keys

    Thanks guys,

indeed I haven't thought about Ctrl+F (I'm quite new to Excel).
It works fine as a starter solution, but I think I will get into Pivot Tables to filter the table more efficiently.

Or try using page up/down keys for fast navigation, filtering will be more efficient if you get the hang of it.
