I have some data that I need to sort to a single set of numbers
the exporting from the program I am using pits it out to a value that has a time stamp next to all data
example...
0, 2524.898
0.22, 2506.475
0.27, 2499.375
0.31, 2509.34
0.34, 2519.315
0.43, 2524.049
I want to remove the stuff before the comma...
so it would just read
2524.898
2506.475
2499.375
2509.34
2519.315
2524.049
is there any way I can do this in excel?
I have about 15 columns I need to remove that time stamp from so I can use the data for a calculation in a new spreadsheet
and I am using Excel 2007
Try using Text to Columns and use a comma as the seperator, delete the unwanted data column

I rarely return to a problem once I've answered it so make sure you clearly define what the trouble is.
Not sure I understand how to do that on a second sheet
the software spits out a .csv file
every column has a [Time-stamp,Data-Value]
attached is the file I have...converted to an xlsx so I could attach it
I need the new column created to be placed on a new sheet, and I need to to do it automatically so I can copy in the data, and it will spit out a new sheet that I can use in a different workbook
(basically I need it to create this data on sheet 2)
