Question SUMIF problem when range and criteria_range are in same row but different columns

    Dear all,
I have little problem with SUMIF formula. My sumif formula is simple and it looks like this =SUMIF($I$3:$CW$3;$C$3;I8:CW8), where C3 contains name LOGIK and in range I3:CW3 there is text, and in sum_range I8:CW8 are number values. Formula returns 0,00 even thou there is values in sum_range I8:CW8. Guess problem could be because of text in range. I tried with =SUMIF($I$3:$CW$3;"Logik";I8:CW8), but got same result. Can anyone help me solve this? Thanks in advance.

Maybe there is some hidden space or something... Try copy cell that contains your word into C3

Without seeing the data I would guess either numbers stored as text, or the header in row 3 is not 'Logik' but perhaps 'Logik ' or ' Logik' with leading and/or trailing spaces.
    Good luck.

Might be because the range to sum is not absolute.

It'd be helpful to see a sample workbook.

This was the problem! There was a space after Logik text. After I removed it formula worked. Thank you sooooo much! This is something that was bothering me for days now.
