The enclosed file contains a Pivot Table which I want to show the cost for each location and ID by DAY (ie Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc).
Although column L contains the Data, it appears in the pivot table as a date. Can someone tell me how to get the PT to show the days of the week. Thanks Kevin.

Select the header row for the Dates (i.e. Row 44 and format the cells as Custom: dddd)

Thanks for help. But how can I get the Pivot Table to give a single total for each day of the week (ie: add up all the Monday's) I just want seven columns, one for each day. Thanks Kevin.
You mean as per attached?
I moved the Date reference to the Row data area...

Thanks again. There is still something not quite right. When there is a cost on two different DATES but on the same DAY of the week, it gives two entries. See PETERBOROUGH line 69. 4E33 There are two entries for Tuesday 9326.56 and 8641.15. I would like one total per DAY per ID ie PETERBOROUGH 4E33 Tuesday 17967.71. Is this possible ? Thanks again Kevin.
Change formula in L2 to:
=TEXT(B2,"dddd")
copied down.
Then refresh the pivot table.
