Thread: How to return data corresponding to one value to another worksheet

I am currently working on a workbook with several worksheets. One worksheet is filled with a data download from a software database. It is about 25 columns wide and over 2,000 rows long. Data in this spreadsheet is seperated by specific values every three rows. On my other worksheet, I want the ability to type in the specific value in one cell and have the 3 related rows, that are 25 columns wide - corresponding to the specific value I typed in to the worksheet be returned to a section of the worksheet I am working on. I have tried several If statements and lookups, but have not been able to suceed. Any ideas?

One other issue, the specific values all use hypens and excel is not reading a lookup function properly. Any ideas around this?
